About Advantage Machinery Services
Advantage Machinery Services was incorporated in 1991 to provide technical expertise for rigging, heavy hauling and crane applications. AMS purchased Crane and Rigging Corporation in 1997 and McCloud Trucking and Rigging in 2001, expanding its equipment, personnel and industrial service capabilities.
Today, AMS supports projects ranging from individual machinery moves to complex plant relocations. Our managers, drivers, riggers and mechanics bring practical problem solving and coordinated planning to each scope of work.

Comprehensive Lift Planning & Jobsite Compliance
AMS coordinates lift planning and documentation around the equipment, site conditions and agreed project scope. Planning may include engineered 3D lift plans, rigging arrangements, crane configurations, load paths and ground bearing calculations.
Discuss site access and documentation requirements early. Depending on the job, these may include operator certifications, rigging qualifications, equipment inspection records and site safety plans. Your project team should confirm required approvals and responsibilities before mobilization.
